Sharam is short for Sharam Tayebi. Sharam is an Iranian (Tehran) who was born on 12th January 1970. He is a producer, a label owner, and a techno and house DJ. He worked in collaboration with DJ Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia in 1998 to release Junk Science which has for the two preceding decades been a name to be reckoned with in electronic music. They released their own label Deep Dish and remix tracks for Madonna, The Rollin Stones, and Dido. Deep Dish has produced hits featuring Anousheh Khalili in Flashdance and Say Hello. Sharam, on his solo career, remixed the classic ‘Party All the time’ of Eddie Murphy in 2006. Sharam har garnered success and won a Grammy in 2002 for his collaboration on Dido’s Thank You and the Ibiza DJ award in 2014. In 2017, his label Yoshitoshi was named in the Mixmags as 24th out of 50’s best labels of the decade. The Yoshitoshi radio was created to promote the sounds of the label.
