Sagopa Kajmer is a Turkish rapper, born as Yunus Özyavuz on August 17, 1978, in Samsun, Turkey. He rose to fame in the 1990s under the alias Silahsız Kuvvet. He released the self-titled album in 2002, followed by Bir Pesimistin Gözyaşları in 2004. The next year, the rapper released another studio album Romantizma, followed by the compilation album Kafile under his own label Melankolia Müzik in 2006. His 2010 collaborative album İkimizi Anlatan Bir Şey with fellow rapper Kolera (Esen Güler), released in 2007, was nominated for a TRT Music Award for Album of the Year. Their second collaborative album Bendeki Sen was released in 2010. He has also released two studio albums with Birol Giray. Sagora also contributed to the soundtrack for the movie G.O.R.A., directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak, which stars Cem Yılmaz.
