Robbie Lawler was born Robert Glenn Lawler in San Diego, California, United States on March 20, 1982. He was ranked as the No. 9 MMA Fighter of the Year in 2013. He made it to No. 2in 2014, No. 6 in 2015 and he was at No. 16 in 2016. He is the No. 8 Top Fan Favorite MMA Fighter as of February 11, 2019. He is known by the nickname Ruthless and the Brawler and he fights out of Coconut Creek, Florida. His last fight was in December 2017 where he lost to Rafael dos Anjos by unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 26. He made his debut in UFC 37: High Impact where his opponent was Aaron Riley and he won by unanimous decision. Prior to joining the UFC, he took part in IFC championships.
