Kevin Christie

Popularly known by his DJ moniker Majestic, Kevin Christie is a British DJ, MC, and music producer who was born and raised in London, England, United Kingdom. At 15 he was already MCing at various UK garage nights and on local pirate radios.

Kevin’s debut single Kebab Riddim dropped in 2005 and it was closely followed the next year by the EP Topgear (2006). He later managed to meet the producers Wideboys and their collaboration saw the release of the 2009 single In the VIP. Kevin continued to split his time between DJing, producing, and providing vocals for other artists. Some such artists were Laidback Luke and Mickey Slim. He rose to prominence in 2014 when he produced and released Creeping in the Dark and followed up over the next two years with several singles. Some of the popular ones were Raised in the 90s, Hard, and the Break the Mould EP. He dropped the compilation Pure House & Garage in 2016 and followed up the next year with the singles Naughty Sesh and Bad Selection. He also mixed and released Pure House & Garage Vol. 2.

He has been named the “best live MC in the game’ by Radio 1 DJ Mistajam.
