Luiza & Maurílio is a Brazilian musical duo that was formed in 2016 in Imperatriz Maranhao, Brazil. The founding members of the partnership were Luiza Martins Passos Firpe Santos and Maurilio Delmont Ribeiro. The band disbanded on December 29th 2021, five years after their formation. The band released their debut live album Luiza & Maurili (Ao vivo) in 2017 and followed up the next year with another live album Ao vivo em Imperatriz - MA (2018). Their main full length effort Segunda dose appeared in 2019 and the next year, the EP Ensaio acustico 2 was dropped. Some of their singles include 2019’s S de saudade (featuring Zé Neto & Cristiano), 2021’s live Modo aviao (featuring DENNIS) and 2021’s Nao da pra continuar (featuring João Bosco & Vinicius).
