Julian Kostov is an award-winning Bulgarian actor, producer and professional swimmer born in Varna, Bulgaria, on August 25, 1989.Â
While growing up, he was quite an intelligent kid who learned things fast. His fluent English and Spanish were learned when he was young; he learned English from watching American movies and went to a Spanish-language high school where he learned Spanish. After high school, he went to the Netherlands to study International Business at Tilburg University, but eventually transferred to the University of Wales Institute Cardiff to finish his studies because of his new desire to pursue a career in acting.
Being the multi-talented person that he is, Kostov is also an award-winning professional swimmer in addition to being an actor. He currently has over 60 medals and awards in swimming to his name. Besides being a 10-time National Swimming Champion from 2005-2009, he also placed #6 in Varna’s Sportsmen of the Year Awards in 2007 and 2008.
