Jerry Springer is an English-born American television presenter, former lawyer, politician, news presenter, actor, and musician born in Highgate, Middlesex, England on February 13, 1944. He is best known for hosting The Jerry Springer Show from 1991 to 2018. He is set to host a new courtroom show in 2019 called Judge Jerry. From 1973 to 1985 Springer was a partner in the law firm Grinker, Sudman & Springer. In 1991 he started hosting the show The Jerry Springer Show. The show lasted for 27 seasons and ended on July 26, 2018. Springer has also been a host on the television and radio shows America’s Got Talent, WWE Raw, The Price Is Right Live!, Tabloid, The Adam Carolla Show, and others. He has also had acting roles and appeared as himself in the shows and films Married… with Children, Ringmaster, The Defender, Roseanne, The X-Files, Gary & Mike, Chicago and more.
