Jean Carlos Enrique Segura, known as Jean Segura or El Mambo, is a Dominican professional baseball player who plays as a shortstop and second baseman in Major League Baseball. He was born in San Juan, Dominican Republic, on March 17, 1990.
Jean signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2007, and he made his Major League Baseball debut five years later in 2012. He has since represented the Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies, and throughout his time with the Phillies, Jean played alongside Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh, Kyle Schwarber, Noah Syndergaard, and Nick Castellanos.
Jean has been a part of two MLB All-Star games, in 2013 and 2018.
