Lim Jae-beom, better known as Jay B or Defsoul, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor who performs K-pop and R&B music. He was born in Siheung, Gyeonggi, South Korea, on January 6, 1994. Jay B started his acting career in 2012 when he starred in the TV series Dream High alongside J.Y. Park, Kim Soo-hyun, Ji-eun Lee, and Bae Suzy. In the years since, he has become known for performing K-pop music as a member of the boy bands Got7, JJ Project, and Jus2. His discography with Got7 includes the hit singles NANANA, TRUTH, Just Right, You Calling My Name, and the albums Love Loop, Identify, and Present: YOU.
