Felipe Tampa, who is known by his performance name of FTampa, is a Brazilian DJ and musician who first learned to play the keyboard when he was only 13 years old. He followed this first instrument with the drums, the bass, and then the guitar, and by the time he was 18, he was completely proficient in four instruments. FTampa’s interest in music then shifted to electronic music production, and it was not until 2013 that he experienced a real breakthrough when fellow DJ Hardwell played one of his original tracks, titled “FTampa – Kick it Hard” at the Tomorrowland Festival. He caught the eye of gaming companies, as well, and some of his music has been used in conjunction with Playstation and Xbox games. FTampa would go on to release some of his highest-charting material, including the songs “5 Days”, “Kismet”, and Make Some Noise”.
