Dj Tarico, real name Tarico Caifaz Samuel Simbine, is a DJ born in 1993 in Maputo, Mozambique. He is widely known for releasing Amapiano music. He has released music in different genres, including Afrobeats, Afro-house, House, Pandza, and Kizomba. One of his major credits includes producing the song “Yaba Buluku” featuring Burna Boy, Preck, and Nelson Tivane.

He has received nominations for various awards, including AFRIMA 2021, the 8th African Muzik Magazine Awards, The Headies 2022, and AFRIMA 2022. His debut album “Moz Piano Vol. 2” was released on 5th November 2020. The album contained 16 singles and featured artists likes Breezy, Mano Tsotsi, Delio Tala, and others. In 2022, he released his first single “Abre O Canal” in collaboration with Angolan musician, Yuri Da Cunha. That same year, he released “Patek” in collaboration with Joey B and Mr Eazi.
