Frédéric Marionnaud (popularly known by the moniker DJ Battle) is a French DJ who was born on July 16th 1984 in Orleans, Centre, France. As a kid, Battle was influenced by Jay Z, Cut Killer, DJ Clue, NTM, and IAM. He made his entry into hip-hop in 2004 putting in efforts to the release of the magazine compilations The Source and Tracklist refnec. Battle maintains close relationships with many international artists. He represents Jay Z’s Roc-A-Fella label in France, and performs one of his 12 The source Mixtapes with DJ Whoo Kid, the DJ de 50 Cent Model: Refnec. Battle has been voted the best DJ of the year at the Virgin Awards at the Olympia.
