About Booger McFarland
Anthony Darelle McFarland, popularly known as Booger McFarland, is an American retired football player and sports journalist. Born on December 18, 1977, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, McFarland was a standout defensive tackle at Louisiana State University (LSU) before being selected in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
During his nine-year NFL career, McFarland played as a defensive tackle for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a crucial member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defensive line during their Super Bowl-winning seasons in 2002, where they defeated the Oakland Raiders, and in 2003, where they defeated the Carolina Panthers.
