Bombs Away (formed in Perth, WA, Australia, 2009) is an Australian group of two talented musicians DJ vocal and producer, Matthew and Thomas Coleman, most renowned for their hit single "Party Bass".
Bombs Away focus on Pop, electro House, Melbourne bounce, trap, Progressive House, and Hip House sounds. Their debut single 'Big Booty Bitches' released in 2010 reached number 3 on Beatport Electro Top 100. Following this single, Bombs Away released yet another single "Swagger" in 2011 which received national airplay on the Nova Network and the Today Network.
The group has been recognized and signed under different record label including Central Station, Universal Music, Ministry of Sound Australia, Bomb Squad Records, Cloud 9 Records, Multiplayer Records.
Eight years after their first single, Bombs Away finally released their debut studio album 'Fragments' in 2018.
Bombs Away's third single "Super Soaker" dropped in 2011 and was certified platinum in 2012 while their first, Big Booty Bitches, was certified Gold in 2013. Bombs Away was also nominated for the ARIA Music Awards of 2013 for their single 'Party Bass'.
Unfortunately, Matthew Coleman announced his departure from the duo in 2021.
