Franklin Roberto Lashley, better known by his ring name Bobby Lashley, is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and U.S. army veteran best known for his time with the WWE. He was born in Junction City, Kansas, United States, on July 16, 1976.
Between 1999 and 2002, Bobby served in the U.S. military, and during his time there, he competed in wrestling competitions through its World Class Athlete Program. In 2005, he began competing in professional competitions. He performed under the promotions TNA/Impact Wrestling and Alabama Wrestling Federation before signing with the WWE in 2018. Throughout his time with the WWE, Bobby has shared the ring with Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Kofi Kingston.
His wrestling career highlights include winning the WWE Championship, WWE Intercontinental Championship, WWE United States Championship, and TNA/Impact World Heavyweight Championship. Bobby also had a successful MMA career between 2008 and 2016, and in his last MMA stint, he went on a five-fight win streak with Bellator.
