Blessing Offor is a singer born in Nigeria but moved to the United States at the age of 6. He had congenital glaucoma, and he had to go to the US, where he could receive proper medical care. In another twist, Offor was shot in the eye with a water gun while playing with other kids in the backyard. The incident robbed him of any remaining vision he may have had. He soon started singing and writing songs.

Offor consistently caught the attention of his new fans, not only with music but also with his outgoing and down-to-earth personality. He participated in Season 7 of “The Voice”, where he was mentored by top artists like Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, and Taylor Swift. He also participated in Bravo TV’s songwriting competition “Platinum Hit” and later signed with the Sojourn Records label. He released his first record, titled “Roots”, in 2015.
