Angie Miller, is a vocalist and songwriter who first rose to prominence when they competed on American Idol. She was born on February 17, 1994 in Beverly, Massachusetts. She was a musical child with interests in singing and instruments. In 2012, Miller attended the season 12 competition for American Idol. While she did not win, she came in third, and it helped further her musical career. Once Americal Idol was over, she opted not to go with 19 Records, the label affiliated with American Idol, and instead pursued a label where she would be able to write original work – which led her to sign with Universal Music Publishing. After some time, she crowdfunded in order to record her first EP and collaborated on it with Adam Watts and Andy Dodd. Her debut EP, “weathered” was released in 2014, and went to the top of Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.
