Alex Escobar is a Brazilian presenter and journalist born on 15th October 1974 in Brazil. He is known for his role as a radio presenter and commentator for the Serie A carnival parades in Rio. Escobar started his radio career as a presenter for the “Rock Bola" radio session on the now-shut-down Radio Cidade. He then worked for "How Sad" and participated in its broadcaster's programs. In 2008, he moved to "Globo Network” as a sports broadcaster for “Bom Dia Rio” in Brasil.

Between 2011 and 2015, he was the editor for Globo Esporte as"carioca". At the same time, he was the speaker for sports. From 2015, he was the commentator for the Esporte Espetacular, a role he left after 14 months. In November 2021, he became a broadcaster for Fantástico sports block, formerly held by Tadeu Schmidt.
