AaRON (Artificial Animals Riding on Neverland) is a duo of composer Oliver Coursier and English-language lyricist Simon Buret who met in 2004. They play electronic pop and sing in both French and English. Within the first year of meeting, the two had composed 20-odd songs, but they had to delay the release of the songs because Buret's film career was blossoming, and Coursie had to tour with heavy metal band Mass Hysteria, as a guitarist and keyboardist.

The duo became popular in 2006 when their songs Mister K and U-Turn (Lili) were used as soundtracks on the box office hit Don't Worry, I'm Fine. Buret had shown a demo to director Philippe Lioret while auditioning for a part in the film. The two have remained one of the most popular musical artists of the 21st century.
