Streetlight Manifesto is an American reggae band formed in 2002 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The group’s current roster consists of Tomas Kalnoky, Jim Conti, Chris Thatcher, Mike Brown, Pete McMulllough, Matt Stewart, Karl Lyden, and Dan Ross. The band has a revolving line up and some of their past members include: Jamie Egan, Josh Ansley, Stuart Katmatz, Pete Sibilia, Paul Lowndes, Mike Soprano, Chris Paszik, Delano Bonner, and Travis W. The group specializes in the ska, punk, ska punk, punk rock, and third-wave ska genres. The band was originally formed by Tomas Kalnoky, Josh Ansley, and Jamie Egan.
Streetlight Manifesto began releasing music in 2003 with a four track EP called Everything Goes Numb. After the release of the EP the band was signed to the label Victory Records. The group then went on tour in North America and Europe to promote their EP. In 2006 they released their first album called Keasbey Nights. In 2007 Streetlight Manifesto recorded their second album called Somewhere in the Between.
In 2010 the group took part in a collaborative project called 99 Songs of Revolution with the bands Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. In 2013 Streetlight Manifesto released their next album called The Hands That Thieve.
