Raging Fyah is a roots, rock, reggae band based in Kingston, Jamaica, which was formed in 2006. Along with frontman Kumar ‘Kumz’ Bent, the band consists of members Delroy ‘Pele’ Hamilton, Anthony ‘Tonidrumz’ Watson, Courtland ‘Gizmo’ White, and Demar ‘Demz’ Gayle. The band currently produces their records from their own label, Raging Fyah Productions. They collectively cite musical influences in Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Third World.
Raging Fyah’s debut album, Judgment Day, was recorded in 2011 at the infamous Tuff Gong Studios. The album’s second single, “Far Away,” was an instant local hit. The band has since released two more full length albums – 2014’s Destiny, and 2016’s Everlasting. Both albums were met with significant success, serving to solidify Raging Fyah’s place in Jamaica’s infamous reggae music scene.
