Painted Palms is an American electronic music duo from San Francisco, California. The duo is composed of cousins Christopher Prudhomme and Reese Donohue, and they started recording music together in the late 2000s. Their first self-release was the EP “Canopy” which included the songs “All of Us”, “Water Hymn” and “Great White” which featured electro pop experimental sounds. The single “Canopy” was later released on the label Secretly Canadian. In 2014, they released the studio album “Forever” through the label Polyvinyl Record Company, which is also the home label of bands like of Montreal, STRFKR and Post Animal, among many groups. In 2015, they released the album “Horizons” which included the tracks “Waterfalls”, “Control” and “Disintegrate” among other catchy pop songs.
