The Heavy Metal Kings are a hip-hop duo composed of Ill Bill (William Braunstein, born July 14, 1972 in Queens, New York) and Vinnie Paz (Vincenzo Luvineri, born October 5, 1977 in Agrigento, Italy). Both members of the group had long careers in the underground rap scene before joining to make the Heavy Metal Kings in 2010, the duo itself being named for a single by the Jedi Mind Tricks called “Heavy Metal Kings” during which Vinnie Paz and Ill Bill had worked together before. They released their first album the following year in 2011, also called “Heavy Metal Kings”. While the project is not the primary focus of either rapper, they continue to work together often enough that they released a second album, “Black God White Devil” in 2017.
